Cody Lail, our Executive Director for the past six years, recently informed the TCM Board of his plans to leave TCM at the end of the summer to pursue further education toward a career in counseling. Like all of you, we will miss Cody’s inquisitiveness, authenticity, and compassion that helped foster a vital campus ministry where students could ask hard questions and connect with God’s presence in the midst of doubt and growth. We are encouraged by God’s call on Cody’s life and excited to see the ways that his gifts with mentorship will impact more lives.

All transitions, be they personal or organizational, are accompanied by some level of uncertainty. The Board also believes that transition provides a chance for us to listen anew to the ways that God’s spirit leads us to serve students at Puget Sound. We are excited to see the ways that God continues to shape TCM and the students of Lighthouse in and through this transition.

We’re extremely grateful for your support of TCM during this time. Thanks to your ongoing generous donations to TCM, we are in a healthy financial position. Our financial strength means that we will have freedom to discern the right person to lead TCM. We also will have the benefit of two student interns for 2017-2018 to provide relational continuity with students and administrative support that will provide organizational continuity.

Your ongoing encouragement and prayers are vital as we enter the hiring process for our ninth director in our twenty-nine year history. Please continue to keep TCM, the students of Lighthouse, and Cody and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of us. We would love to hear from you.
